Gainsborough is a small market town in north west Lincolnshire (England). The folk club is small but extremely enthusiastic and friendly, and this site should tell you everything you need to know. If you have any questions, please Contact us.
The club meets at:
The Old Nick Theatre
31, Spring Gardens,
Gainsborough,
Lincolnshire, DN21 2AY
Directions:
From the mini roundabout at the entrance to Marshalls Yard continue up Spring Gardens towards the station and the theatre is on the corner of Spring Gardens and Cross Street about 75yds from the roundabout. The entrance is just past the corner.
Singers Nights will be in the bar, although if numbers dictate we are able to use the auditorium (although please be advised that this is not as warm and cosy as the bar area).
The access to both areas is up stairs, but they are wide with quite shallow treads.
The bar is well stocked and very reasonably priced and has both cash and card payments, Tea and coffee is also available.
Free parking is available across the road in Marshall's Yard from 7pm onwards.
We currently make a charge of £3 to off-set the rent of the room.
